INS: Consumption of electricity increased by 3.8pct in 2010

Final consumption of electricity in Romania amounted in 2010 to 50.520 billion kWh, 3.8 percent higher compared to 2009. Public lighting decreased by 5.9 percent and household consumption increased by 1.7 percent, according to data centralized by the National Statistics Institute (INS).
