Hidroelectrica wants to open an office in Beograd and Budapest

Hidroelectrica wants to open an office in Beograd and Budapest, stated on Thursday Remus Borza, the judicial administrator of the electricity producer.

The inauguration of these offices comes in the context where since November the electrity market in Romania will be interconnected with the markets of Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Borza stated that the office in Budapest will be inaugurated in September and the one in Beograd at a later date.

Hidroelectrica is state- controlled through the department for energy.

The company has been in insolvency since February, the second time in less than one year, the first procedure being opened between June 2012 – June 2013.
