Growth of over 2 percent for volume of primary energy resources over January-March 2007

The volume of primary energy resources in the first quarter of 2007 was estimated at 10,900 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) accounting for a 2.1 percent rise compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year, according to a survey conducted by the National Economic Projection Commission (CNP).The volume of primary energy resources reported last year was of over 419.51 million toe, accounting for a 1.1 percent rise compared to the previous year.
