Gas imports increase by 71.8pct in first 8 months of 2011

Romania has imported in the first eight months of this year a quantity of usable natural gas of 2.132 million tons of oil equivalent, with 71.8 percent (890,900 toe) higher as compared to that of same period last year, according to the National Institute of Statistics centralized data.
