Gas imports increase by 24 percent in first eight months 2010

Romania in the first eight months of this year imported a quantity of usable natural gas of 1.234 million tonnes of oil equivalent, by 24 percent (238,700 toe) more than it imported in the similar time span last year, according to the data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics.
