Environment Minister says Romania needs one bln euros for water directive projects

Romania has one billion euros deficit on the Priority Axis 1 for projects carried out under the Water Framework Directive, a deficit which must be covered until 2015, Minister of Environment and Forestry Laszlo Borbely told a press conference on Tuesday.'Regarding the water sector, we are confronted with a need of one billion euros in order to pay our debts to the EU by 2015.
