ENEL ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT IN ROMANIA

Carlo Pignoloni becomes the new country manager for Enel in Romania
Enel S.p.A. (“Enel”) announces that, as of today, Carlo Pignoloni, who up until now was head of Enel Green Power’s operations in Italy, becomes the new country manager of Enel in Romania, replacing Georgios Stassis who left the Enel Group to take the helm of Greece’s top utility Power Public Corporation (PPC).

Carlo Pignoloni graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, he joined Enel in 1990 where he held several positions across the company’s various business segments. Carlo is not new to Romania, from 2008 to 2011 he ran Enel Green Power’s operations in the country.
Georgios Stassis who had been running Enel Romania’s operations since 2016, has recently been appointed CEO and Chairman of PPC, Greece’s state-owned and largest power utility.
