Electricity output down 6.9pc in 9 months

Domestic electricity production totaled 17.159 million tonnes oil equivalent in the first nine months of this year, down by 6.9 percent over the same period of the previous year, whereas import outstripped 8.202 million toe down by 35.1 percent, according to figures centralized by the National Statistics Institute.
