Daniel Burlan (CEO): we have a permanent dialogue with the EC which wants to make sure the restructuring effort is realistic
The chairman of the Directorate of the Energy Unit Oltenia (CEO), Daniel Burlan considers that the company has an important market share, of over 20% and if the activity and installed capacity is reduced, he says that ‘we need to replace with something to cover the necessary in the system’.
He spoke, in an interview offered to Agerpres about the plan for recovery and decarburization saying that there are 20 teams which deals with its implementation, the company being in a permanent dialogue with the European Commission.
Burlan mentioned that the projection is that, after the finalisation of the process of restructuring and diversification of the energy resources, CE Oltenia to become a more flexible and viable company.
At the same time,he mentioned that the change to renewable energy cannot be done at once, but in stages so that the energy system continues to be fed at normal parametres.
