Bucharest is, along with other two capital cities in the race for being selected to host the Agency for the Cooperation of the Regulatory Authorities in the field of energy, ACER, a new European authority, that will coordinate the cooperation among the 27 national authorities in the energy sector and will see that their total independence be kept, writes daily Business Standard.
