ANRE approves Development Plan of electric transport network in next 10 years; estimated investments of 5 billion lei
Romania?s energy regulator - ANRE approved the Development Plan of the electric transport network (RET) for the following 10 years, until 2025. Planned investments amount to 5 billion lei and do not include coupling of new users to the grid, according to a press release of Transelectrica Electric Energy Transport, posted on Bucharest Stock Exchange website.
RET will be extended by the construction of new lines and upgrading of existing stations, the increase of interconnection capacities, the increase of transport capacity in the eastern area and interconnection of the rest of the National Power Grid (SEN), safety of consumption in deficit areas and modernization of existing stations.
Projects of common European interest are found in the Ten Year Network development Plan 2014, respectively RET Development Plant over 2016-2025.
