Eastern Europe marks the most important evolution on the continent, of about 27%, while Romania exceeds the average , estimates growing by at least 30% until the end of the year.
However, digital competences are needed for this advance, in conditions in which 2 out of 3 Romanians who regularly use the Internet made purchases online.
In his turn Liviu Rogojinaru, a secretary of state in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, said the electronic trade sector was the future.
The payment by card also reached an important level of about 60% in big cities, while it was about 30% before the pandemic. 38% of Romanians pay by card at POS weekly and 16% use it every day.
