Tourism: SPA resorts, the most appreciated accommodation units in Romania in 2015
Romanians who spend holidays in the country prefer hotels with SPA areas, comfort and good food, according to a study made by a hotel booking site. The most voted accommodation units in Romania were three-star hotels and resorts in mountain areas, especially in Baile Herculane, Sovata, Bran and Poiana Brasov. Romanians appreciated mainly the spa area, comfort and food served at hotel restaurants.
According to the study made by HotelGuru.ro, staff hospitality, room aspect and location counted less in choosing favourite accommodation units.
The most voted hotel of the study was Afrodita Resort &Spa, a three-star hotel in Baile Herculane, which received the price for novelty at Romanian Tourism Gala in 2014, part of the Roman Thermal Spas of Europe.
Other hotels nominated by Romanians are accommodation units in Sovata and Brasov, all with spa facilities.
The study was made on a sample of 2,400 persons who voted on the website.
