Tourism: Borsec and Sucevita attested resorts of national interest

Borsec (Harghita county) and Sucevita (Suceava county) were attested tourist resorts of national interest, according to a decision adopted by the government on Thursday.

Ten localities received attestation as tourist resorts of local interest: Baia de Fier (Gorj county), Boghis (Salaj county), Colibita (Bistrita Nasaud county), Moisei (Maramures county), Negresti Oas (Satu Mare county), Pojorata (Suceava county), Sangeorgiu de Mures (Mures county) , Baile Banffy - Toplita (Harghita county), Baile Ocna Dej area - Dej (Cluj county), Moinesti Bai, Moinesti (Bacau county), according to a government press release.

“By promoting these localities as resorts of national interest, they will have big chances to attract grants,”the press release shows.

According to the source, 43 localities are attested as tourist resorts of national interest, while 57 localities became tourist resorts of local interest.
