Samsung, Sony and iphone - most popular tech brands for Romanian consumers

Samsung, Sony and iphone are the most popular technological brands for Romanian consumers, reveals a study by the market research company Unlock Market Research, conducted in Bucharest on a sample of 100 people aged between 18 and 45 years.

'The first place among the most popular tech brands for Romanian consumers is Samsung. It is a very dynamic and appreciated brand by young people, seen as innovative and which brings something extra. This is followed by Sony, that has been for long an aspirational brand in Romania, on the TVs and laptops side. The third spot belongs to the iPhone, known as Apple, which previously was a hundred percent aspirational brand, ie all of us wanted, but very few succeeded to effectively buy an iPhone ', explained Alexandra Cojocaru, Senior Customer Service of the Unlock Market Research, on the occasion of the Tech Intelligence Conference.

The top of most popular tech brands also includes LG in the fourth spot, considered as a brand partner for consumers, appreciated by family people because it is helpful, offering a wide range of products and a very good quality / price ratio, namely an honest brand alongside the consumer.

'The fifth spot belongs to Panasonic, which, although globally it was facing a lot of problems, is a brand loved by Romanians due to its market tradition. The same is the case with Philips, on the sixth spot, which has an added familiarity and warmth in the relationship with the consumer. The seventh position is occupied by HP, seen as a functional, pragmatic brand, that offers quality and safety in its product. Nokia is on the eighth position and is a brand of phones that we have become used to. Toshiba comes on ninth, considered a professional brand of higher quality and, Blackberry is on the tenth spot, a brand appreciated by young people who, although not very innovative, is one of the most serious brands that comes to your aid', said the representative of this research company.

According to the study, the Romanian technology consumers are eager to use innovative products, but will not be the first to invest in them because they seek a secure investment.
The Tech Intelligence Conference is an event for companies and specialists in IT and telecommunications, who want to be prepared for the new economy, organized on Wednesday, in Bucharest.
