Romanian Tourism Minister Requests Extra Funds For Infrastructure Development

Romania’s Regional Development and Tourism Minister, Elena Udrea, said Saturday that the Government will ask the Monitoring Committee of the Regional Operational Program (ROP) to transfer unused funds from Priority Axis 4 to Axis 5.2, investments into tourism infrastructure.According to Udrea, the money for ROP Axis 4, "Strengthening the regional and local business environment," has not been used, as the program is difficult to implement in Romania "because of the local conditions." ...
