Real Estate: Construction work volume up 26.9 pct this April
Construction work volume surged by 26.9 percent in April 2012 compared to March as gross series and by 11.5 percent as working day and seasonally adjusted series, according to figures released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Compared to April 2011, the volume of construction works increased both as gross series and as working day and seasonally adjusted series by 22.8 percent and 18.7 percent respectively, Agerpres reports.
According to data published by INS, over Jan. 1 - April 30, 2012, compared to the similar period of 2011, the construction work volume went up both as gross series and as working day and seasonally adjusted series by 9.1 percent and 8.2 percent respectively.
