Over a million and a half Romanians affected by diabetes

There are 1.506 million people affected by diabetes in Romania and, by 2030, their number will increase by 200,000, according to the 5th edition of the Atlas of Diabetes, informs a press release of the International Association of Drug Manufacturers (ARPIM). In 2011, less than 50 percent of patients (590,059 patients) were treated, a number lower by 25,000 as against the one in 2010.
