Only over 55% of Romania's population, linked to public water supply

The population served by the public water supply stood at 11.931 million people in 2010, up by 140,517 people compared with 2009, which represents 55.7% of the Romania's population, show data from the National Statistics Institute (INS).In the eight development regions, the biggest share of the population served by public water supply, of the total population, belongs to Bucharest-Ilfov region southeast with a rate of 79.2%, followed by the West region with 64.4%.In 2010, ...
