Lower returns by over 17 percent from wine exports in first six months

Romania collected almost 5.7 million euros from exporting wine made from fresh grapes in the first six months of 2010, down by 17.6 percent from the similar time span of 2009, when it collected 6.9 million euros, according to the data supplied by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.The wines made from fresh grapes, the alcohol ones included, were exported both to EU member and non-member states and exceeded the quantity of 4,823 tonnes in the first six months of 2010, ...
