Infrastructure: Works start on first 21 km of Ploiesti-Buzau highway
Sorin Grindeanu, the minister of transports, announced that another important step was made in building Moldova Highways (A7), the fact that CNAIR gave the association Impresa Pizzarotti & CspA- Pizzarotti SA- Retter Project Management the location of lot 1 (Dumbrava-Mizil) of Ploiesti-Buzau highway.
He added that works were financed through the National Plan of Recovery and Resilience (PNRR) and must be completed in 20 months, in order to open traffic on this highway lot.
He said that the first stage will include “demining works, archaeological discharges, removing vegetal layer, preparing locations for the 14 bridges, passages and crossings,” News.ro wrote.
The minister also pointed out that the works, financed through PNRR must be completed in 20 months, so that traffic could be opened on this highway segment in 2025. “The 21 km of the segment Dumbrava-Mizil is added to the 28.35 km of lot 2 (Mizil-Pietroasele), for which the Initiation Order was issued on August 11,” the minister added.
