Astra Trans Carpatic railway company invested 20 million euro in opening new railway routes, following the purchase of 15 trains from Danish Railways. The company controlled by Arad businessman Valer Blidar, put in operation the first train purchased, on the route Timisoara-Arad- Satu Mare- Baia Mare, offering luxury conditions to passengers.
