Government approves increase of state aid for livestock breeders for 2021

The government decided on Friday to increase the state aid for livestock breeders for 2021, from 40 million lei to 70 million lei, government spokesman Dan Carbunaru announced. (1 euro = 4.9490 RON)

"A decision adopted (in today's meeting) concerns the amendment of Article 19(8) of Government Decision 1179 of 2014 on the establishment of a state aid scheme in the livestock farming sector. The piece of legislation approved by the Government increases the state aid benefiting livestock breeders for 2021, from 40 million lei to 70 million lei. The amount falls within the ceiling approved for the period 2015 - 2022, respectively 759 million lei," Carbunaru said, after the government's meeting.
