Fixed-line subscribers up 3.6 pct in H1; voice traffic dips 6.7 pct

The number of fixed-line subscribers increased 3.6 percent in H1 2011, while voice traffic of end-to-end users via public landline networks dipped 6.7 pct to 3.2 billion minutes, shows the half-yearly report of the National Authority for Communications Management and Regulation (ANCOM).The number of fixed-line subscribers went up after three straight quarters of decline, going past the 4-million threshold.
