Romania was last in the European Union in 2018 in terms of the motorisation rate, with just 332 passenger cars per 1,000 inhabitants, according to data published on Thursday by the Eurostat European Statistical Office.The highest motoristaion rate was recorded in Luxembourg (676 cars per 1,000 inhabitants in 2018).
