Cars: National passenger car production increased by 0.2% in the first four months of the year

The number of cars produced in Romania in the first four months of this year reached 176,635 units, up 0.2% compared to the same period in 2022, according to data published Thursday by the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACAROM).

Of these, 115,366 units were produced at Dacia's Mioveni plant and 61,269 units were produced at Ford's Otosan plant in Craiova.

In April 2023, national passenger car production was 33,879 cars, down 15.26% compared to the same month last year, when 39,982 units were recorded.

Of these 22,080 units were manufactured at Dacia's Mioveni plant and 11,799 units were produced at Ford's Otosan plant in Craiova.
