Automotive market down 7.9 pct in first 8 months

Sales of new motor vehicles on the Romanian market plunged by 7.9 percent in the first eight months of 2011, compared with the same period of 2010, according to the data released by Association of Romanian Automobile Makers and Importers (APIA).All-in automobile sales declined 11.9 percent down to a volume of 60,051 units (compared to 68,140 in 2010).
