Agriculture: Minister Daea: We have taken European funds of over 5.5billion euro in a year and a half
Romania took over 5.5billion euro from the European Union in a year and a half, European money which goes to the agriculture and is already in the country, stated recently the minister of agriculture Petre Daea at Antena 3. He mentioned that the European money go to agriculture to support the farmers, as well as for specific projects for the rural area.
At mid-May the head of MADR said that Romania received this year reimbursement from the EU of 1.847 billion euro and other 400 million euro to come as a result of the presented requests. Last year,Romania drew from the EU almost 3.3billion euro for agriculture and rural development and the target for 2018 of PNDR 2020 is 4.1 billion euro.
