Agriculture: Agency for Quality and Marketing of Foodstuff in office in 2022
As of 2022, Romania will have the Agency for Quality and Marketing of Foodstuff, which will promote goods based on quality and will guarantee that certain products are really traditional, mountain ones or belong to quality standards, said minister of agriculture Adrian Oros on last Tuesday.
The agency will work based on the strategy built together with the associative field and will use European funds which have not been used until now.
The coordinated development of certain public policies for the marketing of quality foodstuff represents the first step for the transformation of the Romanian agricultural sector, ministry representatives say.
The passage from the stage of raw materials exporter, characteristic of developing economies, to that of consecrated producer of VAT carrying products can be a chance for Romania to turn products into an economic growth engine, offering farmers, producers and processors a sustainable development, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture consider.
