50% of passenger cars and 71% goods cars had, at the end of 2017, wear and tear period exceeded

Half of passenger cars on inventory on December 31, 2017, had the normal period of wear and tear exceeded. In case of goods cars, the percentage was 70.7%, according to centralized data of the National Statistics Institute. There were 3,894 passenger cars on inventory at end of 2017, of which 3,817 cars on normal gauge (98%) and 77 narrow gauge (2%). Normal gauge cars included 3,340 cars.
