LOCAL ELECTION 2024/Provisional results of mandates in local councils: PSD - 42.11%, PNL - 32.1%, AUR – 8.6%
The Social Democratic Party (PSD) won the most seats in the elections for local councils - 42.11%, followed by National Liberal Party (PNL) - 32.1%, Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) - 8.6%, the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) - 6.88% and the Save Romania Union (USR) - 2.1%, according to the partial results presented on Monday night by the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC).
The Central Electoral Bureau published, on Monday night, the provisional results on the distribution of the mandates of local councilors following Sunday's elections:
PSD - 42.11% (14.199 mandates)
PNL - 32.1% (10.826 mandates)
AUR - 8,. (2.899 mandates)
UDMR - 6.88% ( 2.319 mandates)
USR - 2.1% (708 mandates)
Alianta Dreapta Unita/United Right Alliance - 1.98% (667 mandates)
Forta Dreptei/Force of the Right - 0.63% (214 mandates)
Alianta Electorala PSD-PNL/PSD-PNL Electoral Alliance - 0.57% (191 mandates)
PMP (People's Movement Party) - 0.56% (189 mandates)
PUSL (Social Liberal Humanist Party) - 0.53% (180 mandates)
Alianta Maghiara din Transilvania/Hungarian Alliance in Transylvania - 0.47% (159 mandates)
Independent candidates - 0.44% (150 mandates)
SOS Romania - 0.34% (116 mandates)
Asociatia Partida Romilor Pro-Europa/Pro-Europa Roma Party Association - 0.31% (91 mandates)
Alianta Dreapta Unita USR - PMP/USR-PMP United Right Alliance - 0.27% (90 mandates)
PER (Romanian Green Party) - 0.2% (68 mandates)
